About Me
By day, I’m the lead, actually the only (so I get to be lead by default), developer for Applied Software, based in the greater Atlanta area. By night… I’m still a software developer. My current work is based primarily around C# and .NET development, though I will venture in to the deep dark depths of C++ from time to time. From 2000 through the end of last year, I worked primarily with Java and ColdFusion. I also dabble in many other languages, including but not limited to, Ruby and Python.
For much of my life, I have played some kind of musical instrument or another. Starting with the tenor sax in 4th grade, switching to drums and percussion in 5th grade, and never having looked back since. I’m currently in between bands, though having a great group of musician friends means that there’s always the opportunity for jamming.
Other than programming and music (really, what else is there?), I have a passion for eating (I can’t really cook for shit, though I try sometimes), drinking, sports (Atlanta sports in particular), movies, good TV shows, SCUBA diving, great books (though I don’t read as much as I’d like), traveling.
I have an amazing wife, Donna, and two wonderful stepsons (Nick and Andrew).
I am a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
